There’ll also be craft demos for you to join in with as well as home brewed mulled wine and mince pies for you to enjoy… perfect!! There’s lots of free car parking space and we’ll be holding a raffle to win an Christmas gift hamper. The next few weeks are going to be busy!!
Rachel Fooks has started running workshops for people wanting a deeper knowledge of Pottety and who want to explore the design process and make more challenging creations. Phillip and David are working on a sculpture, making a maquette in cardboard first – can’t wait to see this made in clay!
A wonderfully relaxing day was spent with yoga in the morning and drawing a mandala in the afternoon. A great way to spend a rainy Autumn day.
Ceramic Travel Cups
Rachel Fooks, our resident potter, has collaborated with Alan White (former masterpotter at Poole Pottery) to make ceramic travel cups. The aim is to try and reduce the amount of take away cups being used once and then thrown away, often ending up in land fill. This is an exciting addition to Rachel’s extensive range of pottery that she makes. Please contact her if you’d like to buy one of the cups which retail at £25 each.
